Nowadays we are living the revolution of tecnologies, Information and Comunication Tecnologies ICT are the revolution for the teaching-learning process; so that's why we can't keep teaching in the same way that we as a profesors teach our students; if a professor is not completely competent to use ICT as a tool in the teaching language process, I think he/she will failure.
motivation is the first aspect that professors have to consider to teach any subject matter; if you motivate your students, they will feel more confortable during the class and will be easier for them to learn. and that's what students love doing, using different kind of technologies like phones, computers, and so on and we can't consider them just like entertaiment for our students.
so it is quite important that profesors that those profesors that aren't able to use IC, they should be trained; because everithing is evolving and we need to be competitive
I think that you're right yaniel in your view point, but we can't forget that the ICT's have double face in learning process. why do i say this? because the most students easily can forget the class objetive and focu on in anothers activities so different to what el teacher wish, for example: chating in facebook, watch video in youtube, download content from internet, play card or another game. these problems can be avoided if teacher is everytime guiding students, help them in each step, but is teacher is unworried and doesn't care about students' difficulties when they try to do something, this can lead to what i said before, in a class must there be responsability in both parts such as students as proffesor, because if one of these parts is not present, it's umpossible to be sucess even it's used the ICT'c or different matirials in order to atrack students attention
ResponderEliminarwell, i'm totaly agree with everything what you have told in your comment about the disadvantage of using new teclogies, because learners tend to distract doing things out of what teacher let do them, doing things what you have told befere.
Eliminarbut is here where teacher have to show his/her capasity to get control on his/her learners, because i think that if teacher is teaching any topic learners have to be focus in the topic that teachers is developing. other thing is that many teachers think that the simple fact of using new tecnologies, their classes are going to be more interesting and learners are going to be fully focused in them, forgeting the interest of class and the learners needs. when all this is happening teacher has a big problem and he/she have to do agood planeation class and try to aplay the new tecnologies ia a goob way.
what my classmates have said is very important and so interesting, now i want to a add my view about it. i consider that the ICTs are very important for carring out a class because is a modern way to teach, without forgeting that the ICTs are doing a big change in the young people mind, nowaday the most people are interested in informatics, so me like a teacher advise to use the new tecnologies in teaching-leaning process like a way to motive students to work in a dinamic way where they can find all that they need to get better by themselve.

ResponderEliminarl am in agrement with juan palacios cause nowadays the use of ICT, are so important they facilate us our live regard to technoly, in the other hand ICT, let us to be up date, also they teach us many thigs that we don´t know so that we can learn a lot.
