Main aim:  Learning vocabulary recited with the body, and identifying each part of body in English.

Personal aims:
·         Acquiring new words in order  to strengthen the knowledge 
·         Recognizing the different parts  of body through English  


Procedure: when class begins the teacher is going to introduce the topic to student, after that   he will ask some questions about it. In order to prove the to prove the prior knowledge of student.

Later  he will explain the topic when student get the information, the class  will be divided in two groups one student will  touch one part of his / her body and one classmate of opposite group has to say in English  the parts of body that his / her classmate has touched.

I recommend that students learn a good vocabulary to easily identify parts of the body

LESSON PLAN - LISTENING

Title: the profession

 Time: 45 minutes.

Goal:  by the end of the class, learners will be able to write short sentences using the profession

Specific aim:

·        To identify the different profession in any text and sentences.

·        To write short tales using the professions

Skill:  writing

 Personal aims:

·         To improve our pronunciation

·          To get the control in my class doing activities.

 Assumption:  learners are familiarized with that topic and establish short conversation.

10°at carrasquilla high school is a class with 35 students they are twenty men and fifteen women whose ages range between fifteen, and eighteen years old they have been learning English ever since they entered primary school.
Course length: 1 school year – 40 weeks
Frequently and length of the classes they have 60 minutes classes per week
Time: (Mon 7: 00--8: 00 am; Wen 8: 00--9:00 am; Fri 9: 00--10: 00 am)

Class profile 10°A sometimes show discipline inside the class room, moreover when the professor teaches the class they make a fun, and loosing concentration.
THEIRS LINGUISTIC NEEDS: during the all process, they have listened class, they expressed that they have learned a few things, but they would like to learn more, and faster.
In another point they say that they like listening English songs before beginning the English class there are two suggestions that students would like to have for carrying out the activities.
1, they need a nice laboratory update for learning English
2, they would like to change theirs class room, because there is too much noise
AFFECTIVE NEEDS: students lack of implements for learning English language, however they want to learn, in spite of they don´t have access to internet, or nice laboratory for studying and developing theirs knowledge, these students the most of them belong to a rural part, and theirs parents some of them are working the other not they still looking for a job this is the real situation students have nowadays
STUDENTS WHO NEEDS SPECIAL ATTENTION
In 10°A student are cooperative they help each other, however there is a students which his name is peter is the best student in the class room he does everything OK while there is another student which her name is Katy she is very lazy, and so messy, also she has failed two years what a shame she should had.


MAIN AIM
By the end of the class the students will be able to understand each other some audio in ENGLISH just focus and leavings taking to account the formal way, and informal way

Title: the greetings

Class profile
The number of Students of  eight grade from the Educational Institution  Santo Domingo de Guzman of Quibdó is 22, they are 12 men and 10 women, their range of age is between 10 and 12 years, On the other hand,  they  are going to attend three hours week,  they have a lack of interest and motivation for learning English,  it is one of the reasons by which their level in English is not good but in general terms, the level of girls in English is lower than boys due to girls are very shy and don’t like to participate in class. Most of them come from different neighborhoods of Quibdó, they also have bad behavior in the classroom, that’s to say that their discipline is not good, another factor that contributes to this problem is that they come from poor families reason by which, it is very difficult for them to have access to educational tools (materials) at home.

Learning style:  visual and kinesthetic learners.
Time: 45 minutes.

Goal:
At the end of the lesson the students of eight grade will be able to recognize and use the greetings in English as in arrival as in leave-takings.

Teacher’s Role

I am going to explain the students  how to use the greetings easily giving them clear examples about the topic, after that I play them an video to go deeply with the greetings in order to develop strategies for students feel more involved with the topic and make easier their English learning process.

Student’s Role
The students are going to be organized in couples, each couple will stand in front of the board and greet his/her partner creating a short dialogue where they will interchange greetings and leave-takings.

Anticipated problems:
The problem I have noticed in my students is that they think English is very difficult, for this reason they feel strange about this subject-matter, each time the teacher ask them something in English they do not answer for fear to make mistakes, this is because English is a new subject-matter for them due to at the school they did not have the opportunity of attending English language.

Possible solution: in order to solve this problem we have decided to talk to them and explain them about the importance of English as a foreign language nowadays and although English is a foreign language it is not as difficult as they think; On the other hand, I will use strategies as team-work and frequently participation in front of the board, but I will make more emphasis in girls’ participation than boys, because girls are shier than men.

we greet the student, then, we write the name of the topic on the board and ask them to know if they have some previous knowledge about the topic, then we clarify it





The video is about two people greeting each other as in arrival as in leave-taking in English.


To check for understanding
After listening the different opinions of my students, we play an audio in which there are two people greeting each other, then, we ask them about what they understood about the audio, once it is done, we ask them to go in front of the board and do a dialogue as what they heard on the audio.
The students had enough time to watch the video many times to have a clear idea about the topic


We ask some questions to the learners about the video they have watched many times, the questions are in this way: how many people were participating in the conversation? What was the main idea of the conversation? And so on...
