TOPIC: The numbers.
Course length: 1 school year 40 weeks.
Frequency and length of classes:
They attend a
time table of two hour weekly.
TIME: 45 minutes.
CLASS PROFILE: in sixth grade
of Miguel Vicente Garrido High school, there are 25 students: fifteen women and ten men, they are ranged between
10 and 12 years old, they have some difficulties at English language, therefore
they say that they don´t like English but at the same time they love singing in
English.
STANDAR: Identifico a los números de 1 a 100.
Anticipate problems:
The learners
can make mistake with the pronunciation of the numbers.
Solutions: in order to solve this problem we are going to
correct them after their pronunciation and we are going to sing the numbers.
MATERIALS: video which contain the use and pronunciation of the numbers
and some photocopies where they can practice it.
AIDS: marker, CD, flashcards, classroom.
MAIN AIM: by
the end of the lesson the learners will be able to write and of course
pronounce the numbers in English from 1 to 100 without problem.
Personal aims:
To learn how
to work with checking for understanding.
To make
interesting the lesson classes for the majority of the students.
ACTIVITY: We are going to say a number to
each student, then, they have to sing some numbers in English.
TEACHER ROLL:
The teacher well pays attention to the student performance and correct then in
case of mistake.
STUDENT ROLL: Students will do the performance without aids
ask to their classmates to pronounce any numbers in English:
HOMEWORK:
For the nest class, the students have to do the numbers in English and say it
in front of the rest of the students.
