will give a short explanation about the verb to be:
Este es un verbo que significa tanto ser como estar y Se
usa con los Pronombres Personales: Verb To Be + Pronombre:
I Am = Yo soy... Yo estoy
You Are= Tu Eres ... Tu Estas
He Is = El Es . . . El Esta
She Is = Ella Es ... Ella Esta
It Is = Eso Es .... Eso Esta
We are- nosotros/as somos/estamos
They are -ellos/as son/están
Ejemplos:
I am a good friend / Yo soy un buen amigo
I am in Mexico / Yo estoy en México
You are my cousin / Tu eres mi primo
You are in Canada / Tu estas en Canada
